Thanks to everyone for providing me with the sightings they've had.  I was
on 8 lakes today and one loon was present.  It was nice to hear the calls
again.
 

It is very interesting to have Merlins, Song Sparrows, and Cardinals calling
and on Saturday we had 25 redpolls at the feeder.  It looks like all the
lakes in our area are now open, so the loon "fallout" should happen soon.

 

Thanks again for all the updates and informative sites to glean the info
from.
