Hi Folks - See below for a great opportunity to view Kirtland's Warblers and
contribute to the project. See Christine's contact information for all the
details.

Kirtland's Warblers Up Close!
Enjoy a special opportunity to see one
of Wisconsin’s
rarest birds! We will be splitting into three groups and rotating to
see and learn about different aspects of Kirtland Warbler ecology and
protection. Venture out with biologists to see & hear nesting
Kirtland’s Warblers. Learn about cowbird control efforts in the area,
how forests are managed especially for this bird, and all about warbler
ecology.
Date: Saturday, May
22nd- 6:50-10:00 am
Where: near Wisconsin Rapids (sensitive site- will give driving directions only
to
those who register)
Cost: $30 per person (fund raiser to support
Kirtland Warbler conservation in WI). There is also a registration fee
per party- which is normally $39 for non-members- but they can use a
coupon code WARBLERS at the end of their transaction to receive a $10
discount on their registration fee- so it would be $29 (and their party
can join us on 3 other trips this summer for this same fee).

I
will send an email with all details and directions after people
register. It promises to be an exciting morning!
