At 7:30 this morning I found the KENTUCKY WARBLER exactly where reported by Scott on Cty LS on the curve north of north-most Fischer Creek parking lot. Singing from the deep underbrush, unseen for an hour until it finally perched on a wire in plain view. Song not exactly like that described in Sibley or on Stokes CD. Two part, fast and loud, first three notes Ovenbird-like "sleep sleep slip", then two notes more cardinal-like "cheer cheer". Yesterday walked the Woodland Dunes area off Goodwin Rd and found HOODED WARBLER, ADLER FLYCATCHER and MOURNING WARBLER.
