Hi all,
On one of my last stops birding along the lakefront today in Milwaukee I
spotted at Horned Grebe at Grant Park. This adult bird in non-breeding
plumage did more resting than diving for food early afternoon while I was
there. I also saw a distant Horned Grebe east of Discovery World. The rest
of the lakefront was pretty quiet. Lakeshore State Park had about 100
winter ducks still hanging around, Lake Park was quiet.
A link to a couple of Horned Grebe images from today at the link below if
you care to view them:

Thanks and good birding,
