[wisb] Horicon still mostly frozen

I took a swing past Horicon in the late afternoon today on my way back from
Oshkosh. I came in from the north, and was surprised that even the shallow
ponds along Oak Center Rd. were still frozen. The east end of Horicon Marsh on
both sides of Hwy 49 actually is mostly open, but I didn't see any waterfowl.
West of the remaining large tree, it's still all ice except around the edges.
There was a little bit of open water along the Auto Loop, but again, almost no
waterfowl except a few Canada Geese and the odd Mallard or two. I walked the
road along the river looking for Winter Wrens, but only had a few Chickadees, a
Brown Creeper, lots of Robins, and Sandhill Cranes bugling all around. Also
heard both Rusty and Red-winged Blackbirds.

I'm not optimistic that the main part of the marsh will thaw anytime soon,
given the forecast lows well below freezing later this week. But hey, it's
officially Spring now!
