[wisb] Horicon Marsh....again

Since I started birding I feel very fortunate to live only 10 miles away
from Horicon Marsh. I get at least one visit per week and sometimes several
and never leave disappointed. Walked Bachhuber Trail Loop at Education
Center on Hwy. 28 early a.m.. Took the scope with me this morning and
checked out the osprey platform. Had nice views of the adult perched and
preening. Also saw the young poke their head(s) up a few times. There is
some nice mudflat area south of the trail loop although it is a little far
off. Also for the last several weeks I have been seeing one bird on the
Bachhuber impoundment that I want to say is a non-breeding plumage horned
grebe. I have looked at it time and again and don't know what else to make
of it. Has anyone else seen this bird that could confirm identity?
