[wisb] FWD: Chimney Swifts in Columbia County

I just had an email from Jim Otto - he had six Chimney Swifts fly over near the
Mud Lake Wildife Area in Columbia County. He also had a Eurasian Collared Dove
near Morrisonville, which is more or less on the Dane/Columbia County line.
Jim thought it was in Columbia County, but if I'm understanding his directions
correctly, I believe it may have been in Dane County. I asked him to
double-check that.
FYI: some of you called or backchanneled me about the delay in WisBird emails
going through. This does happen occasionally, and I believe is a result of a
glitch in Freelists.org's server. The timing of it was especially poor given
the rarity alerts today. I'm afraid there really isn't much I can do when this
sort of thing happens. I can send a message to the tech guys at Freelists, but
they only promise to respond "within 24 hours." Not terribly useful when you'd
like a problem solved fast...
