I would actually say that they usually appear about 2-3 weeks before your
time frame Hakim and are right on schedule. Most years, I can find them
fairly easily in the first week of October in the Madison area, this year
being no different as we had 3-4 show up on Saturday in Lake Mills.

I haven't seen any Juncos here yet...I was surprised that one was reported
in Madison already. They usually come in mid-late October.
