Despite winter finally arriving some birds still hanging around in Mill Coulee
4 miles north of Prairie du Chien include a belted kingfisher, kestrels, and
blue birds. An EC dove has been seen near the jct with State Hwy 35 and bald
eagles are at the nest site a quarter mile east on Mill Coulee and on the south
hillside.
