Attention Wisconsin bird banders!

We found one of your banded Red-tailed Hawks, Sunday, 13 Sept 2009.

 Information sent to Bird Banding Lab follows:

   Band number: 1207-53169         Kind of Bird: Red-tailed Hawk
   How Obtained: Found on road
   Status of Band: Removed from Bird
   Status of Bird: Dead       Comment: An adult bird found on side of road,
apparently hit by vehicle.


 Date of Recovery: 09/13/2009

 About Location

On Rt 22 near intersection with King Rd. Actually less than a mile north of
Lowville., 1 miles N of Town of Lowville,  County is:  Columbia in Wisconsin

We just thought that the bander would like to know the bird was found as
soon as possible.
