Hi all!
Rick Fare and John Dixon both called me recently. Rick found two
Franklin's gulls at the South Milwaukee Yacht Club earlier this
afternoon. One was an adult in full breeding plumage and one did not yet
have a full black hood.
John was able to go and find them around 3:30 this afternoon, but he
said he had to wait a bit for them to fly in before he saw them. Both
birds flew away at about 3:50pm and were not located again before John
had to leave 20 minutes or so later.
Hopefully they will return so others (myself included!) can get a chance
for them!!
