Here here!

"All work and no play makes <InsertNameHere> a dull boy!" comes to mind.

Just be mindful, that's all. This is a list of many people, with varying
senses of humor and tolerance.

(Going to see Maynard tonight? Lucky sod...)

I agree completely... But I tend to think this list is one of the more
light hearted technical lists I subscribe to, and I like that a lot. Our
jobs can get really boring, and reading these lists can get even more
boring. A little fun never hurts, but you're right it should never be
insulting.

I dunno.. Work isn't on my mind right now anyways, I'm headin' to see
Maynard Ferguson this evening... SCREW work, I need groove! :)

All right guys, you've both made your points... Frank made a couple mistakes
in his posting (as to stating that NTFS is the only file System for NT/2K)
and James made a hasty off-hand joke/comment about it.

Let's just resolve to be more careful in our postings, and to add emoticons
to signify when we are speaking in jest (like ;-) for example) and drop it.

And I am one of the moderators, but it is also my opinion, and one that I
believe Jim shares. A little tolerance goes a long way towards easing
mis-communications.

Thanks,

Quite frankly I think maybe, just maybe the guy either have experienced this
or what have you. Is it not true that AD can't be installed on FAT32?
Anyway, it's this elitist attitude that keeps a lot of people from
participating in forums such as this. Sure, it might be funny or intended as
such, but that's neither here nor there. It (IMO) basically said the guy is
full of sh!t. Maybe, maybe not, still I think it (the "pulled it out his
arse") was uncalled for especially since the guy was trying to help someone.
Instead of a smarta** comment, maybe a correction or clarification probably
would have done much better at educating others who may not know these
things.

No, I'm not a moderator, that's Jim's job, but I do have my opinion, for
ever what it's worth.
