So if one was to rename this to Logoff.scr and set it as the default
screen saver, would that work? Probably not since it would ask for
confirmation.

Just thinking out loud.

Good job on the on-topic post!

Do you have the Resource Kit? Logoff.exe

Command-line logoff utility version 1.00.
Copyright Microsoft Corporation 1997. All rights reserved.

LOGOFF [/F] [/N]

Logoff, by default(using no switches), will ask for user confirmation
and prompt to save unsaved data.

/F,/f Forces running processes to close, but will ask for user
confirmation.
The user will NOT be asked to save unsaved data.
/N,/n User will be logged-off without confirmation, however the user
will be prompted to save unsaved data.

There's also SHUTDOWN for rebooting or shutting down. I use that. I've
never used logoff. It looks like it's meant to be run on the computer
that it's on, not remotely.
