Sorry, we only purchase prebuilt stuff like that here, but you could try
something like Ebuyer.com or Ebuyer.co.uk for this kind of stuff.
Basically any decent one should work fine

I guess. But since the cradle is a no-name and all (doesn't even
have a "made in..." tag or power specs, much less a company web
site) this is probably a lost cause. 8-/ But then, who though about
200GB+ harddrives two years ago... At least not me. 8-)

Would anybody have any suggestions on what brands of empty
usb2-boxes are good, and known to support BIG harddrives? 

Firewire/usb2-combos is not a necessity, in that I only absolutely
must have the usb2-controller in the cradle. The FW-part will
probably never be used.
