running for several years.  Nary a problem. =20

Not sure what you meant by reporting inventory properly.  At the click =
of a
mouse button I'm able to retrieve all information (including WMI data, =
virus
definitions, AddRemove Programs, DCOM version etc) that I need. =20

As for it still showing up in the db... Well, you just have to read a =
bit
further.... In most cases (at least in my experience) it usually has to =
deal
with the way SMS discovers machines - using DHCP.  So, if the DHCP =
server
has it, it will sometimes respond back.

SMS doesn't report inventory properly...  Even after it has been =3D
uninstalled, It still showes up in the database.

Yeah, right....  SMS kicks Tivoli's butt time and again.  Alitiris will
integrate nicely with SMS... But there is a huge price tag.  No problems
with SMS here.
