The adult industry does drive a lot of technology... The first e-commerce
was arguably adult, and it was part of the reason for VHS' success.
I'm sure there are others.

what exactly is unpredictable about the adult industry? if the industry
plays anything like their movies, i'd say they're very predictable, and one
