It's way cheaper, more stable, more flexible, and I would think a heck of a lot easier to find administration talent for... If I can pick between running a site on IIS and Apache, I'm picking Apache every time. I miss my Apache admin days, at my current job it's mostly IIS. *sigh* Keeping up with the security patches alone is a PITA w/ IIS. -Aaron ----------------------- Aaron Dokey - MIS Reid Tool Supply 2265 Black Creek Rd. I think Sony was a big part of the reason for the success of VHS since they were so greedy with their Beta-Max format, which was much better. Figures. Yeah, there does seem to be a lot of technology in the world, but what I don't like about it, is there are probably 10 out of God knows how many sites that actually run on a Windows server with IIS. Everything's Apache or Free BSD and uses PHP and stuff. And MySQL. If I ever find someone running a successful adult site on a Windows Server running IIS and using SQL Server, I'll be sending him my resume!
