[windows2000] Re: Strange problem on W2K servers

Sounds like a profile permissions problem. Did someone copy someone else's
profile to replace theirs, or another user's, and not grant that user
permissions to use the profile?

Subject: [windows2000] Strange problem on W2K servers

Hi list,

We got a strange problem on W2K servers (Domain Controllers, Member Servers
and Terminal Servers). Sometimes, when starting Explorer we get the message:

Access to the specified device, path, or file is denied.

At the same time, there's no way you can start anything from the Start Menu
(message: Unable to run this command.)

The issue happens several times during the day and disappears after a while.
Has anyone seen this before or can anyone point me in the right direction?
