[windows2000] Re: SNMP error

Hi Jackie

We're still experiencing the problem. It seems to happen every 3-4 weeks.
The last thing we have done is change the network card and disable the on
board network adapter. This was done about 2 weeks ago, so we should know
if this helped or not in a couple of weeks.

MS don't have a clue what might be causing the problem, and Compaq say
it's a software problem.

Stephen

Hi,

I ran into the same error that Stephen Taylor posted on 7Jan2003,
"SNMP Service encountered ... setting up incoming transports.\n
The IP transport has been dropped out."

Mine was Dell rack mount PC, w2k professional, sp3.

Would really appreciate any information. Thanks.
