[windows2000] Routing via a Windows PC

we currently interact with the Medicare DDE system for tracking
payments and billing issues with Medicare. It uses the AT&T passport
application which is a dial up terminal program.

We have been informed that support for this is being dropped and we
now have to go to an arrangement that is two steps.

the first step is to connect to the AT&T Global network and
authenticate into the private intranet they have setup. The second
step is to run the Passport IP based terminal program and authenticate
into our terminal session.

Rather than mess with this on all the machines that would need it and
all the extra modem lines, logins etc, it seems logical that I could
setup one computer the connect to that intranet and then route traffic
destined for that network through that machine. Is this possible to
do with a windows PC? It seems like it should be. I just have not
been able to figure it out.

has anyone done anything like this before?

Thanks!

Greg
