I use Hyena for this and loads of other stuff. There's a demo available at http://www.systemtools.com -----Original Message----- From: Jim.Walls@xxxxxxx [mailto:Jim.Walls@xxxxxxx] Sent: 23 October 2002 18:47 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Remotely changing disk sharing I need to remotely change sharing permissions on a bunch of NT4 workstations. I do NOT have any remote control software (VNC, Tivoli, etc) on these (political reaason for that). I do have administrator rights to them but that does not allow access to change sharing rights remotely via "normal" means. Since I can use regedt32 to remotely tweek the registry, I'm hoping that the disk shares can be manipulated there - could not find that in my 5 minute look. Anyone know if that can be done, or another way to remotely change the disk shares? More details available if desired...
