I use Hyena for this and loads of other stuff. There's a demo available at

Subject: [windows2000] Remotely changing disk sharing

I need to remotely change sharing permissions on a bunch of NT4
workstations. I do NOT have any remote control software (VNC, Tivoli, etc)
on these (political reaason for that). I do have administrator rights to
them but that does not allow access to change sharing rights remotely via
"normal" means. Since I can use regedt32 to remotely tweek the registry,
I'm hoping that the disk shares can be manipulated there - could not find
that in my 5 minute look. Anyone know if that can be done, or another way
to remotely change the disk shares?

More details available if desired...

Thanks
