Hi Mark

You will have to check that your network card is supported by RIS.

s.asp

ps.asp>

The link above has the details. If not you can create a boot disk.

Hope this helps.

Folks,

Being new to RIS and and old hand with Altiris am slightly confused :-(

Stopped using altiris due to it's inability to cope with partition size (max
DOS filesize being 2Gb and altiris running in DOS on the client!) etc. of
the client and moved to RIS for a Win2K deployment but getting a weird
error. Run RIPREP on the client and upload the config to the server, yet
after PXE booting the client selecting the image it staff's and tells me the
selected image does not contain a suitable network driver for my PC hardware
- all 20 pc's are the same, have even tried it on the machine RIPREP was
done on ?

Any clues or pointers ???

Mark
