I've done this & the first time I go to a web site that launches a different window w/o a title bar or google bar or whatever bar, it changes the darn thing... -----Original Message----- From: Costanzo, Ray [mailto:rcostanzo@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 9:38 AM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: OT: Status Bar in XP Hi Aaron, That drove me nuts too. I believe that what you can do is open up ONE Wind= ows Explorer, make sure the status bar is showing, then do tools--folder op= tions---view---like current folder. That will make all your folders look l= ike the setup that you currently have, which will include the status bar. With IE, I believe all you have to do is open up ONE instance of IE, make s= ure the status bar is visible, and then close IE to have that saved as the = last layout. Ray at work -----Original Message----- From: Aaron Dokey [mailto:adokey@xxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Does anyone know of a way to force the status bar to always be visible in explorer and internet explorer in WinXP? This thing drives me nuts! :) Thanks, Aaron ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
