I'm always on call. It actually works out pretty well though. 1. My girlfriend made me get a cell phone. When work gave me one, I got rid of mine. So, that freed up a bill. 2. Work pays for my Internet access at home, so that's another bill that I don't have to worry about. 3. The frequency at which I have to work from home, get called in, or whatever, is not great and well worth it for benefits 1 and 2.
