We had a Konica for a very short while, I believe... it died. We have a
Toshiba in Main Office #1... that jams hourly, if not more often. We
have two Ricoh Aficio 2090s in the copy room for teacher use, to print
stuff on for hundreds of students... we have had NO problems with them.
They can do just about everything except for get your coffee. I don't
believe that they have fax capabilities, however.

I highly recommend the Ricoh Aficio (the larger model, the better), and
I would avoid Konica, Toshiba, some Canons, Minoltas, and Laniers.

Our institution has a biggun' serving the approx 100 ppl.

It's a leased Canon iR5000, networked for printing examinations for
loads of students, fax abilities, copying, scanning, A3/A4-copying,
double sided printing/copying, hole punching, stapling, e-mail,
yadda, yadda, yadda... It can't however get you coffee,
unfortunately. 8-) The printer drivers are excellent and works fine
with our win2k/xp machines.

Then there is our department copy-machine, a Konica something or
other that sucks time, jamming paper every so often... Nobody
likes, but the lease is for another year or so... Anyway, this copy
machine has networking/prnter server abilities too, but we don't
use it for that, since we have access to the Canon above. THe
Konica is also able to staple and do double-sided printing. It's
more or less a basic copy-machine with network-printing abilities.
