It has been a long time since I last checked on restoring a bad hard drive through the disaster recovery people. Is it still about $1 US per megabyte? -----Original Message----- From: Rick Fogarty [mailto:rick@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 12, 2003 11:22 AM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: OT: Just letting off some frustration Steve, If it makes you feel better we had an individual (music professor) who had quite a bit more music then what you mentioned. I asked him if he wanted us to back up the system for him on a consistent basis and he said no. Two weeks later the HD went south.... Had to send it off to one of the disaster recovery people to get most of it back. Too bad... :-( Rick -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Rance Sent: Friday, September 12, 2003 10:17 AM To: Windows2000 Mailing List (E-mail) Subject: [windows2000] OT: Just letting off some frustration not expecting any answers.... I work on my own in a 'little cupboard' and the only thing that keeps me sane(ish) is my music stored on my personal hard disk. 40Gb's worth of sorted and catelogued music. Now no music just loud 'clanking' noises from the hard disk :-( And I know I should of known better but have no backup of it, and it has taken me 3 years to build it up.... aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Thank you I feel better now. ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm
