Google Gmail is in beta testing stages. People are selling invitations
on
ebay. If you get in early you can get a good name. (and Citrix will
probably love this .... I happen to have obtained Citrix@xxxxxxxxx )
Google every so often gives the beta testers the chance to invite others
so if you have a friend who is one ask if they will invite you if they
get the chance..
At any rate I have been testing it and for reading the list mail it is
pretty awesome! It groups threads together so when you read a message
all of the replies show under the message. When you view your messages
it will show all of the people who have responded to a message in the
from field and lists the number of responses. This is how reading a
mailing list should work!
Selecting the email and clicking on an archive button archives all your
messages for easy search.
I'm pretty impressed at this point.
