I've got two computers networked, both using Windows 2000 Pro and sharing
my USB cable modem over ICS. After, I caught my daughter getting on the
'net and staying up too late I started disabling the ethernet card on my
computer at night and locking it down, so she couldn't play on Internet on
her machine in the middle of the night. This was working fine for a while.
But lately, I have to reboot my computer before she regains 'net access and
then after 5 to 10 minutes she loses it again. When I try to use ipconfig
/renew on her machine I get the error message, "No route to host," even
though my NIC is enabled. Any ideas?
