<confused>
"Active Directory" is not something you can open up. It is a service that
provides logon authentication.

Are you having difficulty opening one of the Active Directory management
Snap-ins?

Subject: [windows2000] MMC

When we open Active Directory on 2 of our 5 Windows 2000 servers, the
MMC takes up 99% of the CPU. One of these is our PDC. Active Directory
works fine on the other 3 BDC's. Since this problem has started,
replication does not take place anymore. I can not effectively use
Active Directory in our location that has the BDC which acts up.
Thank you,
