<confused> "Active Directory" is not something you can open up. It is a service that provides logon authentication. Are you having difficulty opening one of the Active Directory management Snap-ins? </confused> Glenn Sullivan, MCSE+I MCDBA David Clark Company Inc. -----Original Message----- From: Jeff Stockard [mailto:JStockard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, October 21, 2002 11:43 AM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] MMC When we open Active Directory on 2 of our 5 Windows 2000 servers, the MMC takes up 99% of the CPU. One of these is our PDC. Active Directory works fine on the other 3 BDC's. Since this problem has started, replication does not take place anymore. I can not effectively use Active Directory in our location that has the BDC which acts up.
