Hi list, I have two ftp-sites running on the same ip but different ports. I wanted to isolate users from ftp-site1 to be able to see anything in ftp-site2 (and vice versa), but allow users within one site to see each others files and folders. So I created two ftp-sites listening on two different ports, as below. ------------------ FTP-Site1 Some IP Port 21 ------------------ FTP-Site2 Port 2000 Same IP as above ------------------ Now, while testing, I found a problem where I can only login to the first one, ftp-site1, the second one just responds initially and then times-out. I've also run the limit passive port range-fix, according to the ms technet kb. Isn't one supposed to be able to separate two ftp-sites like this, having multiple ftp-sites on one ip but listening and serving on different ports? Thx for any feedback.
