What is it that indicates that the machine is no longer in the domain? The domain account isn't held on the machine. It's in the AD on your DC. You could try putting the computer in a workgroup, deleting the computer from AD Users and Computers, and then rejoining the domain. Ray at home -----Original Message----- From: Angus Macdonald I'm in the process of recovering from a corrupted OS on my Dell PV775N NAS. For some reason, the computer account insists on vanishing from the domain. I join a workgroup, fine. Join the domain, fine, Next reboot, the domain account has vanished and I have to join a workgroup again, etc etc etc Has anyone met this one? ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor Pearl Software Internet Monitoring, Filtering, and Control Solutions Enabling User & Group Level Oversight & Access Policies Fully Functional in a Thick or Thin Client Environment http://www.pearlsw.com ********************************************************** To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm
