What is it that indicates that the machine is no longer in the domain?
The domain account isn't held on the machine. It's in the AD on your
DC. You could try putting the computer in a workgroup, deleting the
computer from AD Users and Computers, and then rejoining the domain.

I'm in the process of recovering from a corrupted OS on my Dell PV775N
NAS. For some reason, the computer account insists on vanishing from the
domain. I join a workgroup, fine. Join the domain, fine, Next reboot,
the domain account has vanished and I have to join a workgroup again,
etc etc etc

Has anyone met this one?
