You probably missed the bit like "these charges may be waived if the hotfix
actually solves your problem". Presumably you only need to pay if you are
simply collecting Hotfixes with no intention of using them AND you tell MS
this when you phone.

Really? Why do they then state on the website that any request for
a fix, is subject to a fee? Did I miss something in the
fine-print??
