Yes, you can make it dynamic, but be *very* careful if it's a system
disk and you're on W2K. If you're not fully patched, it almost certainly
will BSOD on you, and then may not reboot; check MS KB first, and patch

Is it possible to extend a basic disk without creating a new logical
drive?  If not, can I convert to dynamic disk without losing all my
data....and then extend the existing logical drive?
