And for all other uses there is WinSCP (free). SmartFTP (free for
non-commercial use) now also introduces secure ftp and copy with v3.

Just got the following from Veem Software the makers of FastSCP. FastSCP is a
product that lets you connect into a VmWare ESX server (sort of like FTP) and
upload and download files to the server. It is an easy way to back up your
VMDK files (however the VM must be powered off to back it up)
