[windows2000] Directory Analyzer (a summary by Extension)

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know of a script or software that will give the breakdown of a
folder. By that I mean breaking down the file extensions, and providing a
summary list that would show, File extension, total bytes for that
extension, then total bytes of the folder/directory?
I would like to run an audit on my users directory.
Any help would be greatly appreciated;
