I would like a copy please :) -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Angus Macdonald Sent: 19 October 2005 13:19 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Block saving executables in user's homefolder It was only a demo I made for my own amusement so there's no way I'd regard it as bug-free, finished or even 100% stable. It was literally 10 minutes work and only amounts to about two dozen lines of code. I've now converted it to an NT service (told you it would be easy) so I'll send a .rar compressed version to anybody that wants it. -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Ensor [mailto:densor@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 October 2005 13:02 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Block saving executables in user's homefolder Hi Angus Would it be worth forwarding it to Jim so he can add it to the thin downloads? Cheers Dan -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Angus Macdonald Sent: 19 October 2005 12:55 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Block saving executables in user's homefolder I made it myself, for testing purposes. I can't find the service at the moment but I have an application version I could forward if you want to have a play. It's very simple so converting to a service would only take me a few minutes. -----Original Message----- From: Sorin Srbu [mailto:sorin.srbu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 October 2005 12:12 To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Block saving executables in user's homefolder windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <> scribbled on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 11:42 AM: > I played a while ago with an NT service that monitored the users home folder > tree and simply deleted files of specified types as they turned up.
