And MySQL is free as well. A good package which will install MySQL, PHP and
Apache (if you're likely to want to make it so you can query your backend
from a web interface) is AppServ www.appservnetwork.com or
www.appservnetwork.net I think. Failing that, google for appserv.

i'll second AccessDevelopers @ yahoogroups and I will also second that
Access sucks as a back end unless you have two or three people.  MySQL makes
a great back end database.
