In essence you could keep all your machines on the latest software just by
getting all the evaluations of MS products. I got a 180 day eval of Windows
2003 server, that's half a year. The way technology is moving in half a year
I'll be upgrading anyway, why pay for it! :-)

Wishing all the world used free OS,

Gunnar

Yeah, we did too when everyone went to 2000. We just couldn't do it then.
We're now just able to migrate our 4 NT4.0 domains to 1 AD domain. It's
pretty slick. All of our users will be running WinXP Pro. Mind you, this
is pretty small considering some areas. We only have 1500 clients and
around 30 servers....

W2k3 is pretty slick. I only played with 2000, wasn't able to get deep into
it, but 2k3 is pretty nice. I like the fact that it comes buttoned down.
If I need it - then I install/configure it. 'Bout time MS did that....

Rick
