But as others have said, you will probably get improved performance from
the same hardware if you make the old DC a 2K3 machine as well.
But, as others have also said, don't upgrade. DCPromo the new one,
DCPromo (why didn't they call it DCDemo) the old one out, then install
W2K3 from scratch, then DCPromo back into the forest.

For those things that I cannot do, would I gain the ability to do them
if I then took the 2000 DC offline and up'ed that to 2003? Of course,
chances are I'd make no use of anything new anyway, since all the DC
does is authenticate wife and me, and provide our logon scripts.
