High Chris,
If you have way to many things installed in Winamp, it will do that.
Think about what you need and only keep those.
But that what you don't need, uninstall them and Winamp will start up a whole lot quicker.
Hope this helps.
My best regards.
 John.

Subject: Winamp Problem

With the last few versions of Winamp, I've had the following problem.

The first time I start the program after a fresh boot, it starts up almost immediately. Subsequent starts take at least 60 seconds though. Is there anything I can do to get Winamp to not hang like this? Any idea what it's doing or looking for during this long time period?
