Hello Arlene,
I have Jaws 11.
But however, it won't run on this computer.
You need 64 bit Windows, I'm running 32 bit windows.
You can credit the state of Florida for getting me the wrong thing.
  John.

Then you will need Jaws 11.

    Hello Robert,
    Yes I did.
I tried that first before I posted the problem to the list.
But I still have the problem.
I'm still running Jaws 10 on this computer.
It has worked fine for me right up until now.
      John.

John, have you uninstalled, and reinstalled your version of winamp? If
not, try that first. Next, according to your earlier messages, I am assuming
that you are running Jaws. By any chance, is it version 11? If so, have you
updated it?

      High Arlene,
      I have the full version.
You can't do things in the light version like rip and burn CD's and DVD's.
        John.

Do you think it's the light version? I've seen in a beta where if you
hit r it didn't say repeat mode is on. Then when I got the full version the
problem was fixed. Some times I couldn't turn down the volume. I had to get a
sighted person to turn it down. I don't know what he did to turn it down. He
used the mouse to do it. I should have asked what he did. I could be wrong.
For some people light does weird things. Somebody will probably be a better
help them me!

          Hello Arlene,
I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 3 home addition.
The problem I have with the volume control, is the other way around.
          I can't turn it up.
I also know there files loaded in Winamp, but I can't use the key
commands to play stop and or pause them.
Also, I used to be able to hit the letter R to put Winamp in repeat
mode.
But when I hit the letter R, it tells me, "repeat mode is off."
This happens every time I hit the letter R.
If you hit the letter R once, it's suppose to tell you, "repeat mode
is on."
That is, if Winamp is not in repeat mode.
But that is the thing, that doesn't happen anymore.
What am I doing wrong here?
            John.

Hmmm, Let's see! Are you running XP home or vista? Sounds like you
might have some sort of bug. I did while beta testing one version of winamp.
Mine was a volume problem. I could turn it up but couldn't turn it down.

              Hello Arlene,
              No I don't.
I have back up copies of the previous versions of Winamp in a
folder on my computer, but I'm not running them.
                John.

Sounds strange to me. I can't confirm your problem. Do you have
another version before 572 in another folder? If you do try it and see if you
can turn the volume up or down. Good luck. I usually keep an older version in
another folder in case something like this happens to me.

                  Hello list members,
As the title says, I have a problem with Winamp 5.572.
I can't do things like raze the volume and use the key
commands to play stop and pause files any more.
It's very clear that something is causing this problem, but I
don't know what it is.
                  Please help!
                  Thinks in advance.
                  My best regards.
                    John.
