HI. No, I just installed over the top of the prior version, like I've
always done. In the event of uninstalling, what files, where and how do I
preserve my bookmarks and plug ins I have installed? I know this has been
discussed before, but of course, I didn't pay attention since I was set then.

Hi Wane. Did you completely uninstall your newer version before installing 5.08D?
If so, you might like to do that and start completely from the beginning and see if that doesn't fix it.
