Can someone tell me where you can find the bookmarks to edit them with notepad?

Thanks.
Bob

Hey Rob. I thought of that, but in the newer versions of Winamp, the bbookmarks have, quite literally, been integrated into the library. so there's really no way around it unless you know how to edit them manually in note pad. or if you have later versions of JAWS you can do what other folks have suggested, but i don't think JAWS 5.1 would even be able to handle these newer versions of the media library in Winamp. they'd be ok with everything else in Winamp but that. So, feel free to upgrade, unless you make a lot of use of the bookmarks. If you know how to edit them in note pad you'll be fine. but just beware because you might have a few issues along the way.

maybe I'm a bit out of date, seeing as how I'm still stuck with version 5.1 of jaws, and I still haven't upgraded my winamp from version 5.12, or something like that, but why can't you go about it the alternative way, by doing the alt F keys, arrow down to the bookmarks sub menu, right arrow, and then down arrow to the edit book marks, and hit enter. It is a bit of a longer way to get there, but it still gets you to the same destination.

Hi Thierry,

This is confirmed. What you now need to do is to switch to the JAWS cursor and grope around until you start hearing the list of bookmarks you know are
there. You then highlight a portion of the name of the bookmark and then
route the PC cursor to the JAWS cursor. When you do this, the list view
springs into view and you can then use tab and shift + tab to navigate the buttons. But you now have to route JAWS cursor to PC cursor and click with
the left mouse button: numpad slash to activate the buttons. This is
definitely a step backwards in accessibility.

Subject: Jaws 8 update can't edit bookmarks anymore

Hello all,

Since the update of jaws 8 released yesterday, the edit button in the
library doesn't work anymore. I hear the windows ding and nothing happens.
I'm using winamp 5.32, I also have a copy of 5.33 but the problem in the
library hasn't been resolved and when I use the jaws cursor to bring up the listview of bookmarks and I tab to the edit button, the same thing happens: the windows ding. I went back using the good old way to edit bookmarks that
is to say using notepad. Hope this issue will be resolved.

Thierry
