I don't think this is really a big deal.
Just go to the winamp folder in the program files and delete that folder.
That should make any future installs happier.

I may have made a big mistake, today! I installed version 5.33, of Win
Amp.
I am running JAWS 8.0.422U on an XP Home platform. The Media Library was
not responding, so I uninstalled it, through the remove program feature of
the control panel.
Apparently, when I did this, I did not uninstall all of the files. There
may be some plug ins still on the computer. So, now, I cannot install any
version; they all want to abort! Any ideas, as to how to remedy this
little
faux paux?
