Yes, that does a bit. If you press control-P you will go into the Winamp
preferences section and from there you can use the arrow and tab keys to go
through the settings. I forget just now just exactly the "make Winamp your
default" CD launcher but if you get stuck I can find it and let you know.
Also you can go through the various input and output pluggins that are
available from within the "Winamp Preferences" section. Well, hope that
will get you started at least. Good luck my friend...Paul

Yes, I have a ton of music. I have Roxio on my computer, as well as Windows
Media Player, of course. Right now Roxio has made itself the default
whenever I play music. But I can most likely figure out how to make Winamp
the default setting on my own. Someone else configured Winamp for me when I
had it before, so I just wasn't sure if I needed to do anything to make it
more speech friendly for me in terms of the equalizer, and any other
features I might use. My computer speakers have a sub woofer, so things tend
to have too much bass, for instance.

Hope this sort of helps.

Rhonda

Hi Rhonda.

Well, I am kind of at a loss here because I don't know what configurations
you had before such as DSP pluggins, customized settings etc. Winamp is
usable right out of the box. Do you have anything in the way of music to
play with your Winamp yet? Any additional info you can give me would help
and thanks in advance...Paul

I'm using Winamp 5.56, newly downloaded after losing everything on my old
hard drive. Can someone help me configure what I need to? I'm using XP Home
and JFW 10.

Thank you,
Rhonda
