[win2kforum] screen resolution by user profile?

Hi everybody!
In Win9x I defined user profiles each with its own desktop, theme and, of
course, screen resolution. When I logged in as PP, I had 800x600 16 bits
color, and when I logged in as QQ, I had 1024x768 24 bits color. The PPs
profile was for working with Word, Excel, etc... and the QQs profiles was
for working with VB, Corel Draw!, etc. Two diferents profiles for two
differents applications needs.
I have the next question... How can I make the screen configuration depend
on the user profile? Now I only can do this by using two differents hardware
profiles, but is horible (I think it writes like that), I have to choose
which hardware profile want to use on win2k startup. The real problem is
that PP and QQ are different users, with different knowledges and starts
with one (don't cares wich one) hardware profile and changes the screen
configuration for his use, and then cames other, and don't knows how to get
the correct config for his use.
In Win9x was so easy make the screen configuration depend from user
profile... Why it's so difficult (to me) make the same in win2k?
