I suppose it should go into the graphics(3) > man page as well, though. thanks. that would do. on a related matter: i spoke to russ cox and rob pike; plan9(4e) graphics libraries have not been ported to unix/X11 and both seemed very interested in the prospect. russ suggested that his drawterm, [which produces an X11 world to connect to plan9 from linux, freebsd and windows] would be very useful in such an undertaking. oz
