[webproducers] Re: web hosting question

Okay, since this is such an active thread :-) I'll weigh in with mine. For
Microsoft/ASP/SQL Server hosting I've had great success with
http://www.hostmysite.com We recently moved all our sites from dedicated
servers to small providers, and since I was a little jumpy about the whole
thing I subjected them to every test in the book - tech support calls at
2am, bandwidth and uptime monitoring, the whole nine yards.

http://www.webhost4life.com performed about as expected, clueless
after-hours support, occasional outages of 5 minutes or more, but hey,
they're cheap. hostmysite.com, in contrast has been unbelievable - really
helpful tech support, responsive via e-mail an phone, nearly flawless
uptime. Awesome.

Since most of these hosts have bandwidth caps though, I'd be interested in
any "unlimited" bandwidth inexpensive hosts that folks could recommend.
webhosts4life.com is one, any others?

Thanks!

I use Gearhost.com for my site. These guys are great. Check 'em out.
They were recommended to me by my site design company. You can get a
free month right now. And, if you pay in advance, you can get a
discount off the regular $8.95.
