[webproducers] Re: .wav vs. .mp3 - pros and cons

Hello,

The wav format is older and, in fact, MP3 is becoming outdated. MP4 is the
up and coming audio format
(http://www.newsfactor.com/perl/story/20021.html). The difference is in
compression and quality. Here are some articles that go more into detail...

Hope this helps!

hi all - quick question. what is the difference between these 2 file
formats? is one better than the other? what are the differences?

my perception is that .mp3 is more current and .wav is outdated - any ideas?

your help is most appreciated.
