But if you are looking for the exact representation of the web page. Take a
screen grab. Press Alt-Print Screen in windows and for mac--i forget at the
moment. Then open photoshop and then File> New and paste. Viola!
This only poses one problem that I can think of. If you have a plugin like
quicktime or Windows media player that uses hardware acceleration that plugin
may appear as a black box. Simply knock down the video hardware acceleration
down all the way and that usually gets it going again. It also works if you
ever need to take screen grabs of a dvd.

It's not a permanent fix, but if you use Acrobat you can change the page
orientation to landscape. It will alleviate most of the screen appearance
problems since the pain is usually with page width (as opposed to height).

This is true but mainly for fonts since it will replace whatever's on the
screen with a high resolution eqivalent.
Layout is always preserved while image quality will vary depending on your
compression settings.
The main advantage of using Acrobat is that it creates an editable,
compressed, printable, and electronically distributable archive of a web
site.
